Lovers of Italian cuisine will be delighted! A few weeks ago, the Piperno pizzeria opened its doors in our city. You can taste products with Neapolitan flavors.

Plates hung on the wall, a melody on the guitar, and vintage frames… Chez Piperno get ready to dive into the world of Italian traditions.

Established since August 13 on the Cours Saleya, this establishment offers tasty Neapolitan pizzas. “It’s really our specialty” details Khili Bouthaina, the manager. “We find the dough with a thick outline and a thin base. Our objective is really to introduce customers to this type of pizza”.

Reims, Chartres, Saint-​Médard-​en-​Jalles, Saint-​Étienne, Brest and of course Nice… In total, the brand already has six restaurants in France.

Attention, here, you will not find pizzas with salmon… “All our recipes are Neapolitan”. “We wanted to keep this authenticity” continues Khili Bouthaina. “For example, you can taste the Magmatissima which is garnished with spicy salamis and its purely Neapolitan sauce”.

It is also possible to discover other flavors with the “Forza Napoli“: San Marzano DOP tomato sauce, anchovies, oregano, fresh basil, and capers… Or with the “Rossonero”: ham cooked with herbs, summer truffle cream and fior di latte mozzarella… Ideal for a taste of life, “Alla Napoletana”.

For those who are not pizza lovers, you will also find what you are looking for! Pasta and antipasti are on the menu: “We offer everything that is classic with burrata, mozzarella, plates of prosciutto, or stracciatella…”

On the gourmet side, you will also be delighted with specialties such as “calzoncinis”: mini calzones stuffed with nocciolata or apple compote.
