Causeway, a new film starring Jennifer Lawrence, will be available on November 4 on Apple TV+. As a reminder, the streaming service had acquired the rights last month.
New features coming to Apple TV+
Causeway is an intimate portrait of a female soldier struggling to adjust to her life after returning to New Orleans. Brian Tyree Henry is part of the cast, alongside Jennifer Lawrence who also serves as the film’s producer in addition to being an actress.
Shot in New Orleans, the A24 studio film is written by Ottessa Moshfegh, Luke Goebel and Elizabeth Sanders. Jennifer Lawrence produces alongside Justine Ciarrocchi. In addition to directing, Lila Neugebauer is an executive producer.
Apple TV+ will unveil the feature film at the Toronto International Film Festival. Louis Armstrong’s Black & Blues will also be presented on this occasion. This program will be available on Apple TV+ on October 28. Apple will also take advantage of the event to highlight Gutsy, an eight-part documentary series that follows Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton as they pay tribute to the women artists, activists and leaders who inspire them. Both Clintons will be featured as guest speakers.
On the other hand, there will be a first broadcast for sydneya documentary on Sidney Poitier (produced by Oprah Winfrey), Raymond & Raya series with Ewan McGregor and Ethan Hawke, as well as The Greatest Beer Run Ever with Zac Efron.
