Sold for 299 euros by Apple, the AirPods Pro 2 are delivered without a wrist strap. Never mind, it is available as an accessory at a price of 14.95 euros.
Announced during the back-to-school keynote, the AirPods Pro 2 bring some interesting improvements. However, it is difficult to see a real revolution on the part of the Apple brand, which prefers to play the card of continuity. Launched three years after the first AirPods Pro, this second generation inaugurates a new charging case. This has a slightly redesigned design to accommodate some new features, starting with a speaker. It is also compatible with the Locate network and more resistant. Rated IPX4, it resists sweat and water more effectively for sports and non-aquatic activities.
A new charging case, but a wrist strap sold separately
This new box also has a lanyard notch. This should make it easier to hold and transport the headphones, but you had to suspect that Apple was not going to give it away. Despite a price of 299 euros, the Second-generation AirPods Pro come without a wrist strap. Don’t panic, you can already get an Incase wrist strap from the Apple Store for €14.95. While the headphones will only be delivered from September 23, this wrist strap is already available.
For those interested in the new Cupertino headphones, the bill can rise to 313.95 euros. On the other hand, and unlike the Apple TV remote control, it seems possible to use any wrist strap with the AirPods Pro case. Recall that Apple had launched a Remote Loop wrist strap to accompany the Siri Remote. A few months ago, the firm also hit the headlines by offering a 25-euro cloth on its shop. The latter is still available, after months of out of stock.
